Engaging staff to deliver compassionate care and reduce harm
The delivery of compassionate care is directly linked to safer care. Therefore, the aim of this article is to demonstrate a simple method of ascertaining staff engagement to enable effective change in behaviour leading to the delivery of compassionate care, and the decrease of avoidable harms to patients. It also presents some unique initiatives and teaching to enable changes in behaviour and attitude.
