The effects of obesity on asthma control and management

Although not fully understood, obesity is a known risk factor for the development of asthma, and also for poor asthma control and increased severity of asthma attacks; therefore, it is an important issue in asthma management. This article explores these issues and focuses on the impact of obesity on asthma control and management strategies for primary care health professionals.
